COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
FOR YOUTH!

Our Community Connections (CoCo) Youth Program is here to help empower students and youths to be able to connect and thrive independently in their community.

Public Transit Education

Through our Public Transit Education course, students will go through everything they need to know to be able to independently use public transit and be travel trained! Amidst COVID-19, all workshops will be conducted virtually.

Explore a bus before ever getting on one. This workshop will go over the very basics of bus riding, perfect for first-time bus users.

Attend this workshop to learn how to use public transit safely during COVID-19. We go over best practices to stay safe and clean.

This workshop will train and includes live demonstrations on how to use google maps, trip planning cards, and the Transit app.

Advocacy

Our Self Advocacy modules affirms the right every student has to connect and engage with their communities. We hope each student will learn how to Self-Advocate and grow in their confidence to connect to their communities.
