Our Community Connections (CoCo) Youth Program is here to help empower students and youths to be able to connect and thrive independently in their community.
Public Transit Education
Through our Public Transit Education course, students will go through everything they need to know to be able to independently use public transit and be travel trained! Amidst COVID-19, all workshops will be conducted virtually.

Explore a bus before ever getting on one. This workshop will go over the very basics of bus riding, perfect for first-time bus users.
Attend this workshop to learn how to use public transit safely during COVID-19. We go over best practices to stay safe and clean.
This workshop will train and includes live demonstrations on how to use google maps, trip planning cards, and the Transit app.
Advocacy
Our Self Advocacy modules affirms the right every student has to connect and engage with their communities. We hope each student will learn how to Self-Advocate and grow in their confidence to connect to their communities.

This 12-module course will go through different aspects of self advocacy and provide resources to cultivate personal growth.

Join us for our engaging activities where we practice socializing and interacting with others and our environment, and practice all the skills acquired from the above workshops and series.
Our Social Clubs are monthly gatherings where students can engage in fun activities like game nights and dance parties.
