Join us for a day of music, performance, disability rights and justice history, vendors, food, crafts, and kids activities in honor of some of the founding members and staff of the CIL and to celebrate the CIL staff and Board of today.

  • Participate in creating a Memorial Display: Art table at which people can make memorial pieces to place on a memorial display and memorial candles for an ancestor with disabilities who they want to create a candle in honor of to take home.

  • Enjoy DJs and Performers

  • Learn Disability Rights & Justice History: Meet activists, artists, and other changemakers with disabilities through role plays by staff and young CIL consumers.

  • Sit down for a movie screening: Watch short films on changemakers with disabilities across different sectors, backgrounds, and experiences.

  • Kid's Corner: Crafts, balloon art, face painting, activities, snacks, and prizes.
