TheCIL participated in the Aztec Run at Lake Merritt on the morning of May 5, 2019.
Our Fruitvale office neighbor, the Spanish Speaking Citizens' Foundation, host this annual event to promote fitness, build community and raise funds for their educational programs.
Participants receive a medal at the end of the race, such as top overall male/female, and Top 3 male and female finishers of different age groups. Congratulations to two of our teammates who received medals in their age bracket.
Our Executive Director, Stuart James, met with District 5 Oakland City Councilmember, Noel Gallo, after the entire event.
