Thank you to everyone that joined us for the celebration of Ed Roberts Day!
We honored two very deserving recipients with the first Ed Roberts Award for outstanding achievements in the disability rights movement. Former Mayor Tom Bates and former Senator Loni Hancock have made a huge impact that keeps growing immensely and will always be remembered as a part of the foundation for the independent living movement.
A special thank you to Judy Heumann for coming and speaking on the great change that she is a part of and the future we can continue shape.
