Last week, TheCIL hosted a discussion about food - specifically, cooking. ‘Let’s Eat’ was hosted by TheCIL’s Assistive Technology Coordinator, Jeshua Aveno, and covered tips and tricks for cooking with a disability.
The course started with the biggest obstacles that people with disabilities face when cooking, like buy and transporting groceries, or inaccessible kitchens.
The discussion also mentioned some high-tech solutions, like ordering groceries through apps like Instacart.
