Momentum Expo 2018

Updated: Apr 4, 2022

TheCIL hosted the first ever Momentum Expo, a Transportation & Mobility event that seeks to empower people with disabilities (of all ages) and their families to get out, get moving and actively explore their community. On Saturday, April 14, vendors, speakers, and organizations gathered at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley, CA for an educational and fun-filled afternoon. We had more than 200 in attendance, plus the exhibitors!

Thanks to the assistive tech exhibitors who participated in the Expo: Sterling Adaptives, Sendero Group, BORP, Ambutech, Ability Tools, Abiliquip, Invacare, and Whill.

Thanks to the event speakers from BART, Afghan Amputee Bicyclists for Rehabilitation And Recreation (AABRAR), CRIL, DOR, and Bob Coomber from "4 Wheel Bob".

Thanks to everyone who came out to the event, and especially to our sponsors: Alameda County Transportation Commision, Metropolitan Transportation Commission, and Caltrans.

See you next year!
